See through the Looking glass.
Facing your/Your reflection/Reflection is not the same as facing what shows up for you/You as you/You navigate life.
Facing your/Your reflection/Reflection is a Self-determined Act of robust dedication to the practice of Self/SELF Study.
Why robust?
Robust because there is nothing between you and Your Reflection when you decide to Look. The questions you ask Yourself are questions You answer for yourself, without filter. The nakedness of the Design of your/Your journey and of where you/You are on it can be jarring. It can be incredibly illuminating in the harshness of its clarity.
Why would anyone choose to engage in this particular practice of Self/SELF Study?
It is quite simple, really.
When you recognize that there is more against you/You than you can see, you/You lose interest in contributing to the steepness of your/Your climb.
This practice is for those ready to face themselves/Selves and enter into an intensified process of Remembering, all without the illusion of a safety net.

Step 1
In a dimly lit room, sit comfortably in front of a mirror with a tea light candle between you and your reflection.
Step 2
Gaze into your eyes. This practice begins once you see three eyes reflecting back at you.
Step 3
Focus on the eye in the centre of the three. Meditate on this point for 45 to 60 minutes in one sitting.

Clarifiers
What is the difference between seeing and Seeing?
When seeing is written in lowercase, it refers to accessing details of a visual via the physical eyes. There are also technologies available that manipulate the brain to access visuals, while the physical eyes are closed; this is still an exercise of seeing because it requires physicality to do so.
When Seeing is capitalized, it refers to accessing details through the Attribute of Sight. An Attribute is a Gift of earned Mastery incorporated into one’s Life Design and thus, available throughout the life once Remembered. The Mastery of Sight enables the Being to access visuals that are not available in physicality.
What is the difference between looking and Looking?
When looking is written in lowercase, it refers to directing the physical eyes toward something and perceiving it visually. The key here is the decision to direct the eyes toward the object of perception. For example, you could be seeing something in your periphery but not looking at it because you are not directing the eyes toward it.
There is an inherent implication in looking at something that reveals the seeking out of visual content for some reason. The decision to look for your keys is for the purpose of finding them, therefore you seek something you don’t have through the looking. You could be looking for your keys but not seeing them because you haven’t sought them out yet (i.e., you haven’t been able to direct your physical eyes toward them because you haven’t come across them).
When Looking is capitalized, it represents an activity actively engaged in from awareness in which one leverages the Attribute of Sight to expand one’s view of a scene. This scene can be both physical and in the Quantum (for example, you look at your friends standing in front of you [physical] while you Look at how they feel about one another [Quantum]). Alternatively, the scene can be primarily in the Quantum (for example, you Look at the State of your Soul).
When you look for your keys, you could be in autopilot or rationalizing where they should be as you take action based on direction from the Mind. When Looking for your keys, you identify where they are from your Knowingness (not a Mind-based activity) prior to seeing them in the physical.
There is a very important difference between looking and Looking, and it resides in the seeking. Seeking is an expression of scarcity. You can get away with looking for something while seeking it out, but you cannot Look from a place of scarcity. The desire to find out something or the need to make sense of something stunts one’s Ability to Look. Attempting to Look while in scarcity becomes an exercise in seeking something that will not show up, no matter how hard you try.
“See through the Looking glass” is telling you that the mirror is an esoteric tool to access more than meets the eye.
“…when you decide to Look,” you have decided to leave lack behind as you engage in the practice of revealing what awaits your discovery.
What does you/You mean?
Although it can feel tedious to read syntax like this, the variation in the meaning of words when they are written in lowercase and uppercase can be incredibly important to acknowledge and thus, highly disadvantageous to dismiss. Writing “you” while implying “you/You” does not support the process of expanding one’s view of a Bigger Picture, while elevating the Vantage Point from which you process what you access through the words. For this reason, there are many instances in which the syntax in these written words incorporates explicit variations to the way terms are represented within sentences.
When you is written in lowercase, it refers to the character you play on the stage of life. A character is typically expressed as a personality that you play out, while fulfilling a role. For example, Astrid is enrolled at the local university. She plays the role of the student. Her personality is resentful and stressed out. Her character is defined as the resentful and stressed-out student. When Astrid plays this character, the pronoun to use when addressing her is “you.”
When You is written in uppercase, it refers to the Consciousness allocated to the body at Life Design. When Astrid recognizes that she is more than the characters she plays on the stage of life, she embarks on the journey of elevating her State of Being to one in which her Consciousness is in the driver’s seat, rather than all of the characters she plays. When Astrid’s Consciousness is in her body and she is thus Present in her circumstances, the pronoun to use when addressing her is “You.”
Let’s take the following phrase as another example of how you/You can be used: “…facing what shows up for you/You as you/You navigate life.”
This statement takes into account that sometimes, you may be playing characters without acknowledging that there is more to you than those roles and personalities. It also takes into account that there may be instances when You are Present in your body as your Consciousness decides how to navigate the illusion of physicality from an elevated Vantage Point Higher than any character could ever access.
The variation of you/You essentially speaks to the Vantage Point you come from as you experience. Using this type of syntax in this writing catalyzes the potential to expand your perspective so that more of the Bigger Picture can become available for you to access.
What does reflection/Reflection mean?
The lowercase version of reflection simply speaks to the image of something reflected in a mirror or some other reflective surface. A mirror is an effective reflective surface that shows us what we look like.
The uppercase version of Reflection is composed of the details You access when Looking back at Yourself. For example, when you look at your reflection in the mirror, you see your physical image made visible to you on a reflective surface. When You Look at Your Reflection in the mirror, You are using Your Sight to access details of Your Reflection; details that are not available when only using physical sight.
What does self/Self mean?
The lowercase version of “self” refers to the character on the stage. The capitalized version of “Self” refers to Consciousness.
What is the difference between act and Act?
The lowercase version of act refers to an action done in unawareness. When someone acts, they come from the Mind. The Mind is very susceptible to conditioning and bases sound judgement on predictive models. For example, the Mind will say, “When we did this yesterday, it turned out well. Let’s do it again today, so that it turns out well again.” When coming from the Mind, it is easy to perpetuate patterns, conditioned behaviours, suppressive programs, remotely directed scripts, etc.
The uppercase version of Act refers to behaviour done in awareness while Present (Consciousness in body).
“Facing your/Your reflection/Reflection is a Self-determined Act…” because it is an Action that requires the active participation of Consciousness in form. The Mind cannot rationalize the existence of a Reflection, much less more than one version of you/You engaging in this practice. This is why practices like the Mirror Exercise are not a journey for the Mind.
What is Self/SELF Study?
The syntax of Self/SELF introduces a new concept to this discourse: that of Spirit. To grasp the ways in which Spirit participates in life, consider completing the Syzygy workshop.
For the purposes of this Clarifier, consider Spirit the Origin from whence you/You come. It is where every expression of you/You Originates. It is also representative of Home — the place where You have the right to return upon final breath.
The Act of Self/SELF Study is an engagement in the discovery of Your nature as Consciousness in form, as well as YOUR Origin as Spirit. It is the process through which to Know Thy Self/SELF.
Why is Design capitalized?
Design is a phenomenal concept. It is an exquisite representation of how existence takes place. “…the Design of your/Your journey…” refers to your/Your Life Design. Both Spirit and Consciousness take part in the process of Life Design, a process that establishes the parameters of a life and all to which it relates. The process of Life Design is explained in detail during the Syzygy workshop.
The capitalized version of Design can also be used as a verb. For example, the Mirror Exercise is “…Designed to reveal aspects of yourself/Self that you have forgotten or that you deny.” These words indicate that it was not from the Mind that this exercise was crafted. It was not through Thought and evidence-based research that this exercise came to be. It is through the Anchoring of Divine Intelligence not otherwise available through the five senses that formed the contents of this exercise.
Yes, ultimately it is through Life Design that this exercise is here. And it is through your/Your Life Design that you have come across it. What you do with it is based on the lowest common denominator: is a character you play making the decision on what to do with this material or is Your Consciousness navigating your/Your life as Cause?
Why is Remembering capitalized?
In order to appreciate the meaning of Remembering, it is essential to have clarity on what Spirituality means. Spirituality is a deeply refracted, mutated, and manipulated concept in this world. Spirituality is not an elevated hobby. It is not a badge to embroider on a lapel so as to wear importance. Spirituality is also not a form of escapism.
The suffix “-ality” signifies the nature of something. Spirit-u-ality denotes the phenomenon of Spirit in form; the nature of Spirit in form. Given that Spirit is formless, Its expression takes place in form (for there is no expression in formlessness).
We are human Beings having a Spiritual experience. In other words, we are Spirit, here on Earth, expressing as Consciousness in conjunction with the human State of Mind while in a biological vessel, navigating physicality in Earthling form.
Someone who is Spiritual is someone who originates at Spirit. That is everyone.
How does Spirituality relate to Remembering? Remembering is the part of the journey where we recognize that we are more than our body, more than our Thoughts, more than our emotions and experiences combined.
In this world, Remembering involves transcending the human experience so that you have access to that which exists beyond the illusion of physicality. Why would anyone want to do that? So that the illusion no longer suppresses you into its effect.
Why is Heart capitalized?
The lowercase version of heart refers to the biological organ. The uppercase version of Heart refers to a component of the Architecture of Connection, otherwise referred to as Syzygy.
The Heart, also known as the Spiritual Heart, generally sits approximately three inches in front of the thymus gland. It is one’s Access Point to Spirit.
The Spiritual Heart is often confused with the Upper Fourth. The Upper Fourth is located closer to the physical body in the same region of the thymus gland. Whereas the Spiritual Heart is a part of the Architecture of Connection, the Upper Fourth is a part of the chakra system of the physical body.
Activating the Upper Fourth is a way to elevate one’s frequency, which can lead to Basecamp elevations where the Being develops enough Spiritual Muscle to maintain Higher vibrational States in steadiness and stability. This is a part of the process of “ascension” or, in other words, a part of the process of ascending to Higher States of Being where more is available at elevated Vantage Points. If the option is available, the way to activate the Upper Fourth is to acknowledge it in order to consistently develop a deepening relationship with it. The One Breath meditation supports this process.
When accessing courage, one can start by coming from the Upper Fourth in order to exercise greater degrees of willingness despite wavering in fear and doubt. When the Being is able to access the Spiritual Heart Space while maintaining a Sovereign State of Connection, courage elevates to the level required to Be of Service to the evolution of a species.
Tips
Tip 1: Supplies
Mirror (a minimum of approximately 15cm x 20cm)
Tea light candle (preferably beeswax)
Matches or a lighter
Timer
Box or stack of books
Table or counter
Chair
Dimmable ambient lighting or semi-dark conditions outside
Tip 2: Setup
Make sure that your mirror is polished clean and that it has no cracks. Self-sabotage has no place in this practice. You’re worth it.
Position your face to be no more than about 30cm away from the mirror.
Ensure that your whole face reflects back to you (i.e., if the mirror is too close and cuts out part of your face, adjust your setup).
Ensure that the mirror is sitting at eye-level. (Changing the angle of your gaze can alter access to Your Reflection. Starting from a direct view gives you a stable entry point into this exercise.) Place your mirror onto a box or onto a stack of books in order to elevate its position to the height of your eyes when you are seated comfortably.
Place the tea light candle in front of the mirror (onto the box or onto the top book of your stack). If, when you exhale, your breath causes the flame to flicker, raise up the mirror and candle until you can breathe comfortably without disrupting the flame.
If you wear glasses, consider wearing contacts for this exercise if that is available to you. If it is not, consider bringing the mirror close enough to your face so that you can see your reflection, albeit slightly blurry, without wearing your glasses. Having said that, you are free to experiment with this practice with glasses on and off.
If you wear your hair partially over your face, pull it back for this exercise. Obstructions obstruct clarity.
Tip 3: Ambience
Select a place for this exercise that is silent and free from interruption.
Dim lighting is important. It supports the process of expanding into Seeing Your Reflection as the eyes rest and as the body enters relaxation.
Turn off devices and wifi for the duration of this exercise, if that is available to you.
Tip 4: Sitting
The reference in the instructions to sitting comfortably isn’t for convenience but rather to support your Consciousness in this practice. When the physical body is straining to hold itself upright, the Consciousness struggles to expand. When the Consciousness struggles in this way, it is very challenging to enter into a High enough State to do the Mirror Exercise. As such, pick a chair that has armrests and a supportive back so that your body can relax into a seated position for this practice.
Tip 5: Breathing
Breathe naturally throughout this exercise. Do not force the breath through a restricted passage in the throat, nor inhale more than is comfortable.
As you deepen your practice with the mirror, rest your breath at the Still Points found at the base of the inhale and at the peak of the exhale. Do not allow these Still Points to alter your State. Notice the Space that resides within them as you actively study Your Reflection.
Allow your breath to naturally slow as time elapses, while maintaining your gaze upon Your Reflection.
Tip 6: Timer
Once three eyes appear in your reflection, set your timer for 45 to 60 minutes.
If fear surfaces that breaking your gaze will interrupt the exercise, face the fear and keep going.
Once you set your timer, pay no more attention to time for the remainder of the exercise.
Tip 7: Stereograms
Seeing three eyes in your reflection may come quickly and easily to you. If it does not, consider practicing to shift your vision through the use of stereograms. There are many available online.
Working regularly with the stereograms helps deepen the experience with the mirror.
Tip 8: Logging your Observations
Process, in realtime, what comes through as you progress through this practice of facing your/Your reflection/Reflection. One of the reasons why this practice is so intense is because you are asked to hold Stillness (or at the very least, steadiness and stability) throughout the practice. What surfaces may be jarring. It may be exciting. It may be scary. It may stimulate many emotions at once. Don’t let your State waver. Continue expanding into your/Your expanding Bigger Picture.
Once complete, consider recording your Observations for further reflection.
